Hello,
I was trying to figure this out. I pull the lever back and I don't hear a tone and it doesn't accept commands. What is wrong, I am assuming it's installed if there is the lever and manual in the car. I'd really like to use this function, because it seems really neat, but can't figure it out. The troubleshooting guide in the manual is a joke too. Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks in advance.

Does it say "pardon" or does it sahy nothing at all ?

There are only two places to check. Microphone junction point or the fibre optic loop. The module itself needs to be eyeballed. Just to make sure that the points of connection are all in place.

It sounds like the microphone link is not attached. Either at the module or at the microphone junction point at the c-pillar behind the rear seat. Should be a 2 pin black and white connection point with about 3 male and 3 female connectors configured for VCS.

when the VR doesn't say anything and the audio does not mute while using the lever - you most probably do not have the VR control module installed.

greetingz,
