C55 PS/2 Done

After 16000km, I replaced the Pirelli with PS/2. My first impression is the tire road noise is reduced on the PS/2. It is a completely different feeling on the new tires.,, but I could not describe it. I thought the Rosso is a bit more 'sharp' ..

Questions:-
1. I have 255 rear instead of 245 as they said there no 245 exist?
2. What is the break in time ?

tks

Break in is about 100 miles. That should be plenty of time for the protective film to be worn off.

As for the tire size, what diameter and sidewall height?

Those two links should give you a good idea of what sizes are offered as far as Pilot Sport 2's are concerned.

right ! i done 200km already so it s about right ...actually the tires feel 'faster' now than when it was newly put on.

these damn ppl here said most ppl will like 255 as 'upgrade' to 245; I dont believe those shhhttt but I was tempted to change it or afraid never.
anyway, the rear 255s are slightly 'bumpy' but it is really hardly noticebale. And, it seems now 255 improves understeer tail spin a bit.
cheers

Your original comments were completely opposite of my experience. Slightly elevated noise levels, improved turn in, feel and feedback.

I still not sure about whether feedback is improved? I begin to like the PS/2 now as it seems the increased grip over Rosso makes a hard acceleration faster! Correct me if I am wrong as we here ppl had little experiences with tired changing due to our cars relatively low milege. A feel of confidence at a fast bend improves too. I did not notice the rear 255 increases the fuel consumption.

Now, I need to find out , which tires to be put in for my coming E90:
1. PS/2 225/225, 18"
2. Bridgestone S03 225/225, 18"
3. Pirelli Rosso 225/225, 18"

nice tires but I like PS/1 better, but they're all expensive, so I got the goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3. :p

Pity we here really dont have the luxury of changing tires too often as we can't justify changin tires for low milege; after all mine is a street car for day to day Any comments on putting ps/2 225 to the E90?
Among the S03, Rosso and PS/2 (which I tried all) ; I felt that PS/2 has the highest grip and E90 may not have the power to run on these tires?
