C55 in the Family
Well, my bro gets a C55 around Dec 10. Ordered white with black leather, moonroof, cellphone prep, & a few other options. Unfortunately he lives in another province to me, but I organised him a good deal so he will be coming to my side to fetch it. Then he will be using my tuner to chip it. What I need to know is can the car be dyno'd brand new & chipped. He's only going to be up here for a week & plans on chipping & dyno'ing withing a wekk & then driving back down.
It's pretty far & there aren't any good tuners in his area that can do a C55. The tuner says 30whp with ECU, but I know most tuners exaggerate a bit. Does that sounf right? And also he says that he doesn't recommend touching the catts.
Oh & 1 last question. Who has upgraded from a C32 here? Do you feel the throttle to be more responsive in the C55?

Hey man I tried to talk him out of it, but they stopped production of M3's over here a while back. & anyway, he wants a 4-door car. I actually convinced him to get the C55 then, as there really was no other option.

If your brother plans on taking the car to the track frequently, the 4 door S4 would have been a better choice than the C55. If not, the C55 POS is the best road going car compared to the M3 and S4. :p

We live in Africa man. Last time it rained here was in May. Summer's in so now we get half hour thundershowers once every 2 weeks in summer & the roads are bone dry an hour later. 100 deg heat quite often here. 4WD is deat weight to lug around in our climate & with the wide open highways we got.
But yeah he'll have to settle for the C55. I don't know how he's going to show his face in public with a POS like that
