yes, but only once back in June... we are not experienced drivers at all... my best one was 13.88.... C32's best time was 13.70..... our reaction times were both around 0.6-0.9sec..... I'm sure C32 could do better than that but since KRob3 claimed he's also not quite experienced.....

I had a chance to drive a C32 and a 545 at Willow Springs. Not only was the C32 faster in my inexperienced hands, but way faster in the hands of folks who knew what the were doing. The opinion of the crowd was that the Munich iron were motorized sofa's.

Thanks everyone. I couldn't get my neighbors to race me. I even tried to egg them on by saying i would bet them $500 and give them 2-1 odds. I did get them to back off their position though that their cars are much faster than mine.

You know something I discovered since I have been visiting some bimmer discussion sites:-
- 90% bimmer owners never driven any Mercedes Benz
- 90% bimmer owners think Mercedes Benz are for old mothers
- 99% bimmer owners never driven a W203.
- 99.9% bimmer owners never driven a Mercedes Benz AMG.
- 99.9999% bimmer owners never driven a C32/C55 AMG.

I guess they probably did some homework on the Internet and already found out what is a C32 AMG I think their disagreement is all because they don't want to lose face.

I have a neighbor with a nice m3, so I give him my GTech Pro and tell him go run some 0-60s and if you are under 5 sec will race. He hasn't been back.

I must be in the .5555 that owns an M3 and driven one.

What if your neighbors had highly modified 545i and 745i sleepers? Ouch.

I agree with your comment that most BMW drivers have not driven an AMG. There are so many M3's around that is much more probable than an AMG driver has driven an M3 than vice versa.

I don't think my neighbors have modded their cars. They wouldn't now where/how to do it.
