New C32 owner here,
does that intercooler pump fail often ? any range of mileage for failure? how do you know it is going bad or went bad?
This issue caught my attention, sorry for thread hijack.

I was testing SMG's car for because some work was done to it and the car would cut power after a WOT run on the freeway and power would not return until the coolant temp fell back to with-in the safe zone. DME turns off the blower when the coolant is to warm so you have a low compression V6 motor trying to move the car!
Have had this issue on my E55 and SL55 as well. The pumps are terrible.

eglee413: Do a search on both C32 and E55 forums. Pump failures have been happening fairly frequently.
If you have an OBDII scanner or laptop software, failure is fairly easy to diagnose by looking at air charge temperature.
