Car is making noises in the morning when I first start up that makes me believe power sterring fluid needs topping up. I cannot for the life of me figure out where to either measure it or fill it. I have looked all over engine compatment... any ideas???? Tks

 

Power Steering pump is on the driver side. There is a black 2.5'' plastic cap on top.

The noise might also be one of the tensioner pulleys. They have gone bad in the past.

Just had to remove one of the intake hoses to get at it. Topped it up and everything fine again.

Keep an eye on the fluid level, there might be a leaky hose.

 

what kind of fuild are you guys using? i called two different dealerships and got two different part numbers. one is in a tin can and one is in a plastic container.

 

Did not take much at all to top off
