I have never tried them, I remember some of the guys at VW Vortex use them on R32's.

I think the perfomance is similar to the Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3's which I was able to try out this weekend. The Dunlop's are great, hopefully you'll have the same feeling for the Nitto's.

Dunlop Winter Sport M3

i never tried the nittos, but i have tried the winter sport m3s on the stock c32 17" wheels on 225/45 and 245/40 sizes. drove it to poconos this thanksgiving from the island of long and had no problems even in a minor blizard. doing about 90mph the whole way. would definetly recommend. tirerack sold out of them but i got the set in the begining of november for $606 (before shipping and road hazard protection) and i get back $50 from a mail in rebate.

try the M3s, i heard there much improved over the previous generation M2. It's too bad they're called DUNLOP WINTER SPORT M3 and NOT "DUNLOP WINTER SPORT C32!?!? - A.B

Yesterday was our first "big" snow in Chicago, we were hit with about 6-8" and as usual the streets were a mess. My Dunlop Winter Sport M3's performed great, not issues with ice, great traction in the deep. I highly recommend this tire to anyone looking for snow tires.

Well Ive had the Nittos on for 2 weeks now. High stability is A+, cornering is B, Overall dry traction A-. In the snow about 2 inches of fresh snow the tires were rock solid, on pure slush no problems. on a snow covered highway they were great, cornering was very good. Overall in the snow I give them an A. At $132 a tire not a bad choice. They are also pretty quiet.
