anyone without teleaid??
i have that stupid '1 malfunction' in my cluster cause i don't want teleaid.
mbusa says it cannot be deleted. dealer says only mbusa can do it. anyone know if there is a way to get rid of it???

i haven't paid for teleaid for the past year...the thing indeed doesn't work anymore, but no error msg. You just get the "you are not dialing from an authorized location please try again" reply.

I like your suggestion and will call tomorrow. If it can't be removed, I might suck it up and pay for another year.

i have the same malfunction...usually appears during the first start up of the day and then is gone until the next day
i have many things to spend 300 on and this will not be one of them!

I had an error, and the dealer removed my Teleaid error message.
You would think that after several years of looking like fools when the customer knows better than they do, the dealerships would learn....
I found these notes
In stardiagnosis :-
Control Units -> Info. and comms. -> ICM -> Control Unit Adaptations -> Version Coding -> Optional Equipment
In the optional equipment menu you can set the following
to present or not-present depending on what you have
AUDIO, Tele-aid, Cellular Telephone, Trip Computer, Navigation
You would think that after several years of looking like fools when the customer knows better than they do, the dealerships would learn....
