awesome run, your car is badass, as DragonAMG's car is also badass. however, your ecu tune looks to be a bit rich at times? i think some more power could be extracted...but i guess rich is better than lean, in terms of safety. how much does your compressor displace?

Benny: I do not mean to rain on your parade. But this dyno has some major problems.
There is something going on. A/F is uneven, between 4200 and 4400 you are 14:1, which is no good. From 6300 until 6600 A/F goes to 16:1. There is something going on with fueling, look how jaggety the curves are.
Look at the dyno below, this is how smooth it should be on a properly tuned car. This is stock W211 E55.
My guess right now is bad MAF.
Do you have AMG blower setup from 55Ks? Any pictures?
P.S. Drivetrain loss is 17%.

You kinda had me there with the running rich line, but I get it now, you are running lean. Yes ...no NOS...no no NO....you will toast that baby!!!
Man, Vadim is right Benny, that A/F ratio looks whack!!

Vadim,
Thank you for your input.
I have a RENNtech S/C on the car, as well as headers, air box, ECU, modified transmission, and a few other little mods.
I am not sure what is going on as af as the A/F mixture.
I have already replaced the MAF.
I have spoken to Hartmut and they are looking into it.
I can take off the air box and post picture.
Aside from a bad MAF I really don't know what could be off.
The car drives strong and while on the dyno we pushed it is hard as you can imagine.
One quick question - how does a stock 469 hp E55 post 423rwhp (based on 17%)???
Hartmut is supposed to get back to me on Monday. I will keep everyone posted.

Benny, if you can take a pic of the blower, we can figure out what it is.
I would keep my foot out of it until Renntech gets it retuned. If you can, use 100 octane as back up. Uneven and jaggedy curve is a sign of detonation.
Do you know how much boost are you running?
On E55 HP, AMG is playing games with numbers. Stock SL55 dyno around 425-430 RWHP, stock E55s are in 420-425 RWHP range. Pretty much the same in my book.
So if we use 17% loss, than we are at 420 / 0.83 = 506HP, AMG rates SLs at 493HP in some literatures and 500 in others.
Another way to find out HP is to look at MPH at the end of the quter mile. Most E55s trap at around 115. The formula is as follows:
MPH x 0.00426, result cubed and than divided by weight.
So if take 115 x 0.00426 = 0.4899, cubed equals 0.118, times 4300 lbs. equals to 505.6HP.
Good Luck with your car.

Hey Bennyz -- I'm sorry to hear you're having troubles with you car. After spending the amount of money you did, you should expect nothing less than perfection. I hope the folks over a Meridan are fixing your car at no charge. Perhaps you should consider shipping your car to RENNtech HQ? Maybe they can fix Meridians shortcomings? Or consider taking your car over to EvoSport and swapping it out for a Kleemann setup.
All joking aside, I really hope they fix your car my friend.
Bennyz -- I think what Vadim is getting at is that RENNtech uses a rebadged AMG blower (I think I read this someone... could be totally wrong here). He's trying to understand your setup so he can help diagnose the problem.
All joking aside, I really hope they fix your car my friend.

The folks over at Meridian have been great, simply great! All of the lack of support has come from Florida. At this point I am almost ready to give up, the car should have come back perfectly tuned! Hartmut did the work and even said that Oliver (from Germany) personally tuned the car.
As for psi - Bob at RENNtech told me that they run 7 psi and as for the type of blower - it is not a 55K type blower or at least it does not look like it!
Monday should be an interesting day in the life of my C55!
thanks for all the support (vadim, thanks for your input)

Try taking the car to the track and see what kind of times you can get with it. Thats the true test.

If you ever decide to part out your car, which I honestly hope never happens because I would like to see this get resolved... I've got first dibs on your Brembo's.

What are you going to do now? Have Meridian fix it or send it to RennTechh FL again? Can't imagine all that time and money you spent for a result like this. Time to get a "real" tuner involved!

From last we talked about your car you mentioned that you had problems with transmission shifting at the end of the 1/4 mile. Most likely that would explain your low MPH. You should be close to 105-106 range.
I have been using this formula for the past 15 years. Combined with going to the drags for 17 years and having Dynojet in the shop for the last 8 years. I can pretty much vouch for it's accuracy. It is not as good as a dyno, but it will get you in the +/- 5% range.
Plug in several cars from the back of major magazines and you will keep this formula in your head forever.

More Formulas & Theory Here. Interestingly, a conclusion this person has drawn is there's a closer relationship between 0-60mph and 1/4 mile times, then weight to power ratios and 1/4 mile times (click me)
