My ///AMG

My lease on the 03 C230 is finally over. My plan was to buy a 2006 C55 but the new design is scheduled to be released very soon and I don't wanna take a big depreciation hit incase I like it and decide to trade it in.
For now I got a 2002 C32 couple of weeks ago. I must say, It’s an amazing car with lots of power.

Here are the mods I’ve done so far:
Green filters
Flat Hood emblem
Grill
Bi-xenon’s
19" black wheels (not mounted yet, u could tell why from the pics)

Few Pics of the Beast:

Fully loaded with Nav. no XENONs which I didn't care for because I was planning to modify to Bi-xenon’s. It had 60k miles and I paid 26k. It’s a good deal because I will not loose a lot when I trade it in for the 2007/8 C55/C63. The car is solid as a rock!! Feels and smells new!! It’s a steal for the price I got it for!!
I’m getting this crazy Idea of putting a Turbo in the car. I probably wouldn’t dare do this if I paid 60k for the car but that's the beauty of buying a pre-owned car, I won't be screwed as much if something goes wrong. I’m researching it right now, if I find the right shop to do a quality job. I won’t hesitate!!

Great deal! I just picked up my C32 used for 27k with 85k miles, fully loaded with command, etc. I have had it for about a month now. Looks like we have the same idea.. Mine is Obsidian black and I am looking to pick up some black rims as well. I am pretty damn happy about my purchase! It came with the starmark warranty to 100k miles which was really cool. Luckily I had the warranty because I just had my first electrical problem with my drivers seat Monday. She is sitting at the dealer now, hoping to get it back today.

I already had the window's tinted, added green filters, looking to remove the resonator by the end of the week. In the process of getting my rims, upgrading to the clear bi-xenon headlights, and new grill with flat hood emblem. I will add some pics soon..

Anyone have thoughts/impressions on Lorinser LM-5's and the fit on a C32? Was also looking at HRE 448r's..

Your worst nightmare...
Someone please educate me on what is resonator delete? I have heard this and since I am a new C32 owner would also like to do it, don't know the benefits of it, but sounds good, from what i hear.

2002 c32
The resonator is a chamber between the cat and muffler that just makes the car quieter. The hp claims are questionable in my opinion, but the car might 'seem' faster because it sounds cooler.

Kleemann claims that no intake or exhaust mod will result in hp gains (other than headers).

Sorry to hear about ur problem !!! but that's why I didn't care to get an aftermarket warranty. most of them are unclear and have shady terms. instead I just put that budget of $3000 in my pocket ready and waiting for any repairs. So far everything is good.... knock on wood. if all goes well..... I get to keep the budget and get a freebie mod on my next car!!! lol.

But good luck bro and keep us updated.

Where you are located? It's good to meet another AMG owner in the Boston area.

Thanks for the encouragement. The dealer just gave me the full estimate of $1185 bucks. I told him forget it. Just put it back together. At least they replaced the control module under warranty which will at least work with my presets.. I just won't be able to recline until I get it fixed. I am going to take it to another local dealer (got some negative feedback on my current dealer) and see what they say. The reason I am so upset is because I would much rather use that money on mods.. 1200 could be a new exhaust, or a good chuck for some rims..
