Electrical Issues...
I took my car in a few months back b/c the background of the navi screen (map mode) was darker than usual (kinda like when you go through a tunnel but it stays black all the time) and it will flicker to a light gray (which is the normal color) back to black right before my eyes. When this happens (which is very frequent now), my front, passenger side headlight goes out. So I'm driving at night and this darn light will turn off and then on again. I'm sure drivers ahead of me think I'm flashing them or something.
I have an appointment tomorrow morning, so we'll see what they say but has anyone else had a similar problem?
Also, a few weeks back (before these problems starting happening) I was driving through a residential neighborhood (very slow, maybe 5mph) and about to make a turn (so I'm practically stopped at this point) and I heard this small explosion. It turned out that my front, passenger side fog light blew out and the fog cover/casing broke too. Ever since this the electrics in my car have been acting up. I thought it might have been a rock that kicked up but there's no way I can see that happening. Very strange
I have had none of the other issues yet.....
I picked up my car last Thursday...
The dealer said the fog light was definitely an electrical issue which is covered under warranty (whew...otherwise it would have been about $250 bucks).
They said they checked the "error codes" in the car and ordered a new fog light so I have to go back this week. The problem however with the back light for the Navi is still an issue only it's not affecting my front headlight (for now anyway). So I'll bring this up if it's still an issue after replacing the fog light.

Regarding the exterior lights - make sure you have the switch in 'Auto'.
