Front Swaybar

I have Eibach swaybar in front, and stock AMG rear.
If I can't fit a thicker rear bar(can't clear the quad exhaust), should I go back to stock front bar, or the front bar alone still provide handling improvement?

thanks

depends on the conditions and on the turn
too many variables
it will understeer more and earlier, it will more than likely hurt ur speed and compromise ur exit speed
i would put the stock 1 back on

Cornering speed is limited by grip. That's what I think you’re trying to increase – grip. You say the front bar is "thicker". Assuming both the original and the aftermarket bars are made of the same material (they’ re probably not) the thicker bar will increase front roll resistance, increasing understeer, and decreasing oversteer. A little bit of understeer is typically the direction most people want to go. That’s a "little bit" of understeer. Too big a bar will cause too much load to be transferred to the outer front wheel. This will result in a "whole lotta" understeer, which is not the direction I would want to head in. If you notice a dramatic increase in understeer, that will probably be a good indication as to why the bars are sold as a pair – front and rear.

You didn’t ask this, but I’m going to throw it out there anyway – have you checked your tire temperatures? Used a pyrometer to check the outer/center/inner tire temps? Compared temperatures from side to side? Front to rear? You just may find that proper inflation pressures, as determined by reading the tires may produce more grip than taking a chance on an increase in bar size. If none of this makes any sense to you, go to RotaryNews.com. I wrote an article on this some time ago. I believe they still have it in their archives section.

I am a bit confused, you said thicker bar increase oversteer and decrease understeer? Shouldn't it be the other way round?

You're right. The third sentence had a typo. I corrected it. A larger front bar increases understeer/decreasing oversteer.
