2003 c32 AMG
Surprised a Ferrari 360 Spyder...and myself.
I was just heading out for some ice cream with the family (wife in front, 10 and 12 y.o. sons in the back) when we pull up next to a 360 Spyder. I take off a little hot to see what he is going to do and he did not even notice me at first. I slowed down to let him get on it to catch up and then I floor it. He stomped it too and we were neck and neck for about 3 seconds and then he started slowly pulling ahead. We had to bail because of another red light. He was definately going to pull ahead, but this was awesome. I never thought I would own a car that could keep up with such an exotic! I was happy to be going out for ice cream with the family, but then if I'd only been alone...

unless you have small pulley and software, theres no way you'd keep up with him from an even start

Did he know? Like I said, I took off quickly, which I think made him aware of me, to which he responded by flooring it. I took off then, too, and kept up with him for several seconds. I think this surprised him...that an MB could stay with him like that. Anyway, I just bought it Thursday. As far as I know, it is stock.

I wouldn't really own a coupe. If driven right a C32 with pulley ECU etc... will do 12.7. A 360 Coupe driven correctly does that or better. Infact it would not even own a spider. It would just depend on the driver.

i raced and beat a 360 cp thru some twisties and i also raced a 360 spyder in the str8 and was on his ***, he didnt pull an inch
real world performance of our cars(c32, c55,clk55) is very close to the ferraris cause they lack torque

I am the new owner of that car in the video. The C32 barely outrun that F360 only because the F360 were carrying 2 big men and had air cond on, and the C32 carrying only 1 person with air cond off. The 360 should beat a stock C32 easily.

2002 C32 Black/Charcoal
A C32 vs. 360 race is highly-dependent upon which 360 you are talking about. The slowest 360 is the F-1 (paddle shifter) Spyder (convertible), which is the model that the starter of this thread probably faced. With equal weight in each vehicle, the stock C32 should run pretty much neck and neck with an F1 Spyder. The manual hardtop 360 is alot faster, however.

Uhhh,yeah, right, thats exactly why most people don't have one. Not because of the price or anything, it's the darned cop attention and the concern over what other people on the road think
