Appreciate the review, Marktini- Thanks.

I'm definately picking up at least one Cayman -- these cars are the shiznit....

A new Porsche definition of Sports-Grand Tourer -- and it should make one heckuva trackday car.

I drove the manual version; it was not the short shift option (The short shift option is evidently very stiff in cold weather so the Chicago dealers do not include it in their inventory unless it's special ordered) the manual was very smooth with a nice tight feeling.

Clutch feel was good, it's been a few years since I've driven a manual, but it had that familiar Porsche/Audi feel.

I had the opportunity to do a couple of "fun runs" on decreasing radius on/off ramps and the car felt like it was on rails. The CaymanS I drove had the 19" wheel/tire upgrade and the ride was not as jarring as I was expecting.

A manual transmission can make a slower car "seem" faster. IMO that is.
