So. Cali. Spotted Thread
I know the C-AMG's are rare but we occassionally spot one and wonder if it belongs to a member. Just thought it might be interesting to see how this actually works out on this forum. I've seen similar threads on BMW forums and the people who lurk the forums will actually say hi.
So let me start it off.
Spotted a silver C55 at JV's mexican food around noon off of Morena Blvd in San Diego today. Had a chrome AMG license plate frame.

Thought I would chime in..
There is a brand new gold C55 in my parking lot with MB Laguna temporary plates in the Sorrento Valley - SD Tech center area.
I also spotted a black c32 at Macy's in Mission Valley. Car looked lowered and had a F1 licence plate frame..
Anyone own these? Nice rides..

BTW, If anyone in San Diego has a supercharged C55 (or any other HP mods), I'd love to catch a ride from you sometime to see how it feels...
Also, if you have added a subwoofer (boxed or rear deck mounted) I'd love to hear your feedback. I'm still on the fence on what to do. LaJolla Audio is recommending upgrading the rear deck subwoofer with another freeair sub and amp but I'm hesitant to chop up the car.

but it wasn't very difficult. I kept the entire factory set up. All you need is a line converter, I used a VEN 4.. (takes the full power speaker leads and makes them step down with adjustable amp input with an RCA output) I spliced into the wires coming out of the amp for the speaker input and wired my amp directly to the battery. La Jolla Audio should have the line converters. I installed mine in a couple of hours. Since it sounds like you work in the Sorrento Valley area I would be glad to show you/ let you listen. I still need to clean up some wiring a little but it sounds great..

Huh.... I saw couple BRAND NEW W211 E55's around Fremont/Milpitas area.... but rarely spotted a C55.... try to find friends here

Spotted a silver W208 CLK55 conv. heading North on 15 @ Miramar Way tonight 'round 5:15pm. Very rare site... Looked good.

Believe it or not, but, including mine, there were a total of three C32s in my former office building (591 Camino de la Reina, San Diego (Mission Valley)). I think that one of them was the aforementioned black one with the F1 plate frame.

Fred, I bet you are the only Red C55 in town. I bet you get a lot of attention too. Everyone liked staring at my red C230 loaner when I had it for 3 days. I could just imagine the amount of people jocking your car.

Just saw a Pewter C32 on 54th street in the College area San Diego without plates, had an AMG tempory plate in the back. The car was just pulling out and I flashed a peace sign to the driver.. Young, probably early 20's with spiky hair.. Anyone from the forum? I live right down the street from where I saw the car..
