What a coincidence...I had just done the same research on TireRack.com the other day.

The one potential setup I noticed you missed was...
Yokohama AVS ES100
(front) 235/40/18 - $157
(rear) 255/35/18 - $179

I'm debating between those and the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 in the same size. Pricing is identical. Anyone with opinions on either (or both) of those setups, please chime in!

i have the same wheels on my C32..

Does anybody know if 255/40 would be big for the rear?

thanks for the info.

we just need to add tax balancing and mounting.

Too big for what? It would fit, but definitely wouldn't be the "right" diameter in terms of mileage, speedometer, etc.

i'm lowered, but the rear still has a bit of a gap.

The 40 series would make the ride a bit softer for the kids.

I was wondering if it would rub?

Only about 2500. But, since I'm planning on autocrossing this entire season, I think I'll probably need new tires in a few months...
