still don't think we will get the 6.3 l..... seems amg considers the c class a marginal product.......that said i figure it should be pretty easy to perpetuate by using the new 5.5 twincam 4 v but change cam profile for more top end power. >400 hp should be within reach by sacrificing a bit of torque. that would work well with the 7 speed.
imo -the new amg motor is not going into the slk either...they will get the 5.5 l as in c class amg. makes sense as there is no "500" series in C and slk.
the clk higher price structure lends itself well to the premium 6.3 motor. look what benz did with the clk dtm. so- c, slk with nonamg 5.5 but tuned say 400-420hp. then clk,e, s, g, gl, r cl, sl (holy crap..lets add z x v t p w ) with amg 505hp........
a new e class 4matic with 7 speed may do amazing 0-60 runs!
any further thoughts? market intelligence :-)??
