Hi,

I am new to this forum and new to owning a Mercedes. I just bought own off of Ebay motors and I am very excited about having such a special car. It is a C32. My signature is a pic of my car that I just bought off of Ebay and I pick it up on the 17th of this month!

I have heard about AMG Challenge weekend, has anyone ever been to one? I would really like to go to one especially if it were at Daytona.

If you have been to the AMG Challenge please let me know about your experience.

I went to Homestead last year. I met a lot of guys from this forum and really had a great time!

Congrats on the car!!! Looks nice. Mind telling how many miles are on her and what you had to pay?? Others trying to join the C32 club would lke to know! I've been seeing prices from $25k w/ 80,xxx miles to $39K w/ 12,xxx miles.

I went to the AMG Challenge last year at Road America. The day was worth every penny, classroom time, skidpad, slalom, evasive manuevers, and hot laps on a 4 mile road course it was a blast.

Thanks for the great links, pics and general thoughts and info on the AMG Challenge! I am really going to try to go to one. I don't know if it will be this year or next but I will go to one for sure and when I do I hope to see some of my new AMG internet friends there!

Steve L1 - I paid $26,799 for my 03' C32 with 62k on it. My brother in-law (used to be a service writer for a mercedes dealer in 02-03) lives where the car was for sale (OKC) so I had him check it out for me and he said he had seen a ton of Cs with that kind of mileage and that this one was very well kept just has a good many miles for an 03. I had found a couple of deals that seemed to be a little better on price and some with both lower price and mileage but I had to go with the best kept car as I wanted to get a great car not a car that needed some care to bring it up to good standards.

I also really like the C32 over the other two Cs (C43 and C55). I mean the C55 are basically alot like the C32 in performance (C32 might be a touch better, oops do I see a race in my future? ) but since they are newer they cost more and the C43 is cool too but I really liked the performance and styling of the C32 over the C43.

I appraised the car (03' C32) on several website places and they all seemed to say around $32,500 on the dealer value and that is with the high mileage.

I told my brother to stand on it strong and tell me how it went when he test drove it and he said it felt like he went 0-80 in 3 seconds so I took that as a good thing and bought it! Of course, he was obviously was exaggerating but that is what it felt like to him as it had been awhile since he had driven an AMG. He also had to say it drove like a very sporty tank like all of the AMGs but what does he know he is a Jaguar fan.
