............you may wish to cross check your facts. Toyo is the parent compny for Nitto. The tires they sell are basically the same within the same performance category.

Another thing, do you need to use winter tires as well? If yes, then save your money.
Yes 17", No need in winter tires. But it still expensive here 1,5k$ for the set.
Unfortunately do not have a big choice. The only reliable brands are: Michelin, Dunloop, Continental, the rest is Chinese **** =(

Cars and boats!
I've been running Toyo T1R for about 2 years now... I've had Nitto NT555, Pirelli Pzero Rosso, and Hankook K104 before...

I like the Toyo T1-R the best out of the mentioned ones. It rides quieter and grips better.

At the track, the best 60ft times I was able to pull was 1.8!! This is while running NT555 or T1-R.

Welcome to mbw.
........I remember when that list was published. It excluded tires that the Tirerack do not carry. So Toyo's for instance are excluded, making the list a lot less useful than it could have been.

Welcome to mbw.
I just put AMG 18's from a CLK55 on the C32. The new tires are Potenza RE760 Sport and I had Michelin Pilot's on the old wheels. The Potenza's are quieter and much smoother IMHO.

Stopped by at the dealer to install my Nitto Invos earlier today.
The non-directional tread design was quite extraordinary and the tires appeared stout!

Just like any other Nittos, the cross profile is a bit square so be careful when choosing the width.
The dealer said that the inner face of my front tires MIGHT rub against the fender liners when turning the wheels all the way, so they asked me if I wanted to raise the front coilovers by 1/8” just to be on the safe side.
But I wasn’t too concerned because the fender liners are somewhat flexible and relatively soft.
And if they indeed rub, it only happens when turning the wheels all the way, which I will never do.
And even if I need to do that, it won’t be for a long time or at a high speed.

I’ve had 60 miles on them, 50% highway, 50% city streets full of bumps, manhole covers, patched asphalt, and I didn’t have any problems.
No vibrations, no rubbing, and no wiggling on grooved pavement. They’re sticky, have good grips and I was impressed by the noise level. Very quiet.

Front: 235/35/19 on 19x8.5
Rear: 255/35/19 on 19x9.5
H&R coilovers, + spring pad #3 on the rears.
