Taking wheel suggestions for a C32

Since my car came with Goodyear F1's (read summer tires) and I live in Chicagoland, I will need to get some winter shoes. I plan on putting the stock wheels on the winter tires and new wheels on the F1's. There are a million different wheel manufacturers and I wanted to see what other's would suggest. My car is black so I am torn between black with a polished lip or silver wheels.

Cheep or spensive?

If you want cheep, then try the Flik Artics from edgeracing.com (black with polished lip looks great on black C32 for about $160/wheel)

If you want spensive, then nothing beats HREs.

I love the look of the HRE's but don't want to spend 4k. I was looking for something in the $300 range per wheel. Here's my dilema...I'd want to put the new wheels on the current 17 in tires. But the more I think about it, I may just pony up and get new tires. Is there a big difference in the look between 17 and 18?

putting 17s on doesnt make sense and if ur willing to go 18, then u might as well go 19.
my cousin owns a shop, pm me and ill have him e-mail u pics of what he has.
he has lots of choices in that price range.

heres my car w/ 19 in hre 547r black w/ chrome lip

Be careful about rubbing issues, whatever you decide. IMO, it is rather strange to have a sedan which can't carry rear passengers because the weight makes the tires rub.
