Seeking Advice on C55 Upgrades
Having recently moved from NY to Dubai, I decided to change my ways and have purchased a 2005 C55 that is currently bone stock. (My previous car was a 2004 S4 with Miltek downpipes, highflow cats, cold air induction, cat back exhaust and ECU upgrade).
I have just ordered the green filters to date, (I am considering putting and have an appointment on June 3rd with a performance shop here in Dubai (RACETEC) to have Eisenmann headers, highflow cats, resonator delete and ECU programming installed. Additionally, I am considering going with Stop tech or Brembo set up for the front (355mm).
Will my stock brakes up front fit in the rear? Would another option be to keep them stock or upgrade to the CLK 55 Set up?
Will the headers or any other component void the warranty? If so, what options do I have?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
So, you think that the mods I am having done will be okay without the ECU reprogramming to ensure maximum efficiency with the new parts (headers etc)?
With respect to your question on the S4 vs C55, I must say that even with the mods, the S4 did not feel as strong as the stock C55. I much prefer the C55 any day over the Audi. Nothing beats the massive amounts of torque that the C55 puts down.
