MB Class Action & Proposed Settlement...
Anyone else receive this notice in the mail recently?
Basically, it says if your car (purchaed or leased between 05/01/2000 - 12/31/04) didn't come with front license plate brackets then you are entitled to have this done to your car free of charge by your local dealer.
I remember talking about this before on an old post regarding front license plates being required in California. So I guess someone "stuck it to Mercedes" since they were not supplying the means to comply with the law.
I personally like the look of it not being there myself so I really don't want it done but what if officers start cracking down and writing fix-it-tickets for this.
This offer expires 12/19/06 btw.
