hey ive always been a fan of mb's ever since ive been a kid and always loved their cars but when it comes to choosing my first car im having some difficulty. My brother is a diehard laguna seca m3 fan while im into the c32 amgs but having that power might be too much of a problem for my father. So i found a c32 amg 2002 bril. silver with 29k miles on it for 26500 and tops price is 27000, personally ide love to have it but can i get some tips to convince my father its a safe car to get and its not too much to handle? Thanks, love seeing all the nice cars you have.

You can always get one of the smaller motored sedans, like the 320 or 280 or something. They have OK power and the insurance won't be out of control and you can still pimp it out with rims and the AMG body kit, and do some modding work maybe if you got the 230 Kompressor or whatever it is.
Maintenance might be an issue. I would look at a Lexus if you don't want your dad harrassing you about repairs, but if he won't care about that, I would rather have my C than a Lexus any day of the week - even on the days it's not running right (so...per the usual)
