We have a wide variety of wheel choices from BBS to DPE to HRE, Carlsson, Lorinser, Brabus as well as replica versions of AMG and aftermarket manufacturers. Here are some of our more popular Mercedes choices:

But I think you will love the look of the 19's, I LOVE the way my car looks with them.

I wish you can provide the full specification of your 19" rims for C55 W203 inclduing widths , offsets and specs of the tires you have used.
I am alsmot deciding to go 18" aftermarket BBS and perhaps this is the last time I will give the 19" a revisit. I also wish to know whether you are keeping your stock suspension intact with the 19".
Your assistance is deeply appreciated.

cnt, you should just go 19's this time around and be done with it. If you don't after all this, you'll always wish you did and second guess whether or not you should have. I say go for the 19" BBS. They should know what offset will work for your car, but ideal offsets for the C55 would be 28-30ET up front and 34-35ET in back. Have you tried asking sdsilverm3 what the specs on his BBS LM's are?

At first I was a little unhappy with the performance loss from 19s, but it turned out mainly to be from an issue with my Powerchip that I installed at the same time. Go with 19s, they make the car look so much better than 18s

Your roads (chi-town) are like mine (detroit). Don't you find the 19" rims to be too harsh over uneven surfaces?

I agree with Blake. You should just go with 19's and be done with. You don't want to be regretful of not doing it after spending $3k+ on wheels.

CNT, I see that you're considering the BBS RGR's. According to the BBS USA site there is no fitment for C55's though that could differ since your distributor probably pulls from BBS Japan (not sure). The only wheels available for the C-AMG's in the US are the LM's, RE's, and RS-GT's. The RS-GT's are similar to RGR's but have rivets and are a multi-piece wheel.

BBS's only available offset for the front 19" wheels are +32mm and that will require at least a 3-5mm spacer to clear the AMG brakes. Luckily they do make wheel specific spacers so vibration worries should not be an issue. As for the rear wheels the RS-GT's come in +32mm or +38mm. With the LM's I didn't have a choice so +32 was what I had to work with. I don't foresee any issues with +32 on your car either since your ride height is very reasonable.

So basically I'd say go with +32mm all around if you go with 19's. I'm not too sure about 18's though.

Harshness is not even the primary concern. Depending on the quality of the 19" wheels, rough roads and potholes will bend them.
