Does anyone have an ASP pulley + ECU Flash
Hey just wondering if anyone dynoed their car with these mods? Is the hp gain almost equal to EvoSport. Is the ECU flash worth it, once you have the pulley? Which chip gives the most gain Renntech, Kleeman, Powerchip...
Thanks Pete

Did you do both mods at the same time or did you get the pulley first, then the ecu flash. If so did you notice a lot of gain. I am gearing towards the asp also because of my car is still under warranty.

I'm looking into some pulleys & an ECU flash sometime soon. Does anyone know if it matters if you have pulleys and no ECU re-flash, or would it be better to get the ECU done first, and then pulleys? I'm kind of just learning about this stuff. Has anyone had their ECU reflashed by Speed-Innovation? How satisfied are people with their ASP pulleys?

Have you ASP pulley guys experienced louder belt noise at idle? I heard a C32 idling with the evosport undampened pullies and the idle noise from the belt was obnoxiously louder than stock. The noise made me kind of worried...

Going for the ASP pulley....
I guess that settles it then, I'm going to get the ASP pulley which is a stock pulley with a ring welded onto it, retaining the factory harmonic balancer. I was afraid the undampened evo pulley was the cause of the excess belt noise. So I will only get a dampened pulley. I couldn't find the pulley for the C32 on ASP's website. Any helpful info on pricing, etc?

The website is a little flaky, so are many others, navigation does not always work correctly. At one time there was a webpage for this asp pulley, but you had to use the search to find it. Send an email from the website or call them.

The ASP pulley for the C32, ""PN 331380 is $ 970.00 for a harmonic dampner reworked to 14% overdrive or a dia of 6.810 inches. The kit also includes the water pump pulley and idler pulley. These allow the kit to retain the factory belt.""

A tech has to know the C32 very well to notice that the ASP pully is aftermarket, since it is a modified stock part. The other pulleys scream for attention, so are much more likeley to cause trouble with the dealer

i have asp's - no noticable noise during idle, but yes i believe a mechanic will be able to detect them, due to the weld. while some may not notice it, it's not 100% stealth, so i would not consider this a warranty advantage over other brands.
