Noob intercooler question....
Just changed my intercooler pump and read that I refill the fluid in the coolant expansion tank. Is it true that the intercooler and the radiator share the same fluid??? If so thats crazy!!!! How can you expect good cooling results from hot radiator fluid.

As I understand it, yes, they share the same fluid. Hey, the radiator keeps the engine running OK doesn't it? The intercooler doesn't not have as high a demand as the engine and the pump, when it works, does a great job of maintaining the proper air temp. If it works, don't complain.

During the cold months you don't get the benifits of the colder air with the stock setup. Since you are in california and are forced to use the same **** gas I can't stress enough how important it is to keep IAT temps down to control detonation.
