Forged for C55 W203
Would like to check if anyone has replaced the C55 stock rims with light weight keeping it to be 18" forged rims , but without altering the stock suspension system. I suspect this mod will signifcantly giving the car better braking and better fuel economy. I am thinking something like the black edition Rays

I am definately interested in such a modest mod. Please post the weights of the wheels you choose or are interested in for us all to compare.
As winter wheels for my C55 I use the OZ superleggera 18". These are under 20 lbs each (I think they are 18 lbs; I have a call in to Luke at Tire Rack for the exact weight). If my memory serves, 18" AMG rims are generally 27 lbs each or more.
By the way, how much does the standard 18" HRE weigh for the C55?

I found stock of the Prodrive. Love the British Black.
For a 18x9.5 GC-07c, it just weight 18.5 lbs. very nice!
prodrive GC07C F: 18x8.5 R: 18x9.5.
( $560 each)
I wanna use these rims with my current PS/2 tires 225 , 255
for my Brilliant Silver C55.
Any advice?
