DFW, the build quality looks excellent and installation appears easy, but I'm just not a fan of that star design.

Do you have any intention of creating other designs? I really like the "Affalterbach" logo (pictured in the link below) and think you would get some solid sales to AMG owners with it.

Just to let you guys know. The flat white star is fantastic! I bought one from DFWdude for my C55 and it fits perfectly. The "fat" white star was the badge used on the original gullwing 300SL. Looks great on a C55 with an OE 3-slat CLK star grill from Jerry at "formymercedes.com."

I'd post a picture but my old computer was fried by lighting and I will either have to take new pictures or hire a tech to recover my now, inoperable (won't spin) drive.

There already are 3-4 Affalterbach designs available, ranging in price from $15 to $150. So I have no intention of adding a fourth contender. Besides, 1/5 of all the WHITE STAR Flat Badges already in circulation are riding on AMGs of one sort or another. I don't want to peeve this loyal group by creating something that might obsolete their choice.

Besides, I really like the uniqueness of the White Star, myself. It says classic "Mercedes" on the front of the car, and everyone knows what that means... No one other than a true MBZ fan, knows what Affalterbach means.

People want special AMG versions, Black theme versions, etc... I make a product that is generic enough to please the widest range of buyers, and the WHITE STAR complements all colors.

This has to be by far one of the best looking subtle upgrades anyone can do to their Benz.

I just love the classic timeless look of this white star.
I have my 1959 220S with the original white star badge on the huge front grill parked right next to my wife's C320 Sport Sedan with DFWDude's white star flat badge, and it's an awesome feeling to see them together.

I am making the last batch of ten WHITE STAR Flat Badges this weekend. One is already sold. That leaves 9 left to be spoken for, sold in the order payments are received.

I am unable to re-establish communications with the factory overseas that made the WHITE STAR inserts for this product. I fear they may be out of business. Accordingly, I will have no choice but to terminate production after I exhaust the current inventory of parts.
