+1 to that.

And is it just me or does this chap sound way to eager to capitalize on the incident; he actually sounds realy excited about just the possibility of getting all the aftermarket mods he couldn't otherwise afford to get on his own and even as far as making open claims on defrauding/misusing the insurance reimbursements for everything other than just a restoration to oem.

I hope the alleged shop doesn't surf these boards nor have a defense attorney, coz you just opened your butthole for a big probing son.

Actually he should close this thread and edit his posts to remove any mention of it immediately. Just my advice AMGSC.

I am glad that you finally got a lawyer. I am a lawyer and when I started reading through this thread, I wanted to tell you to stop it. Anything written here can be used both for and against you.

I am sure you are in good hands with your lawyer, but you need to make sure you think about getting a very good expert on Mercedes and wheels, etc. That will be necessary to prove who, if any one, was at fault.

Good luck.

Xray/MRI to be done on right shoulder next week. Can't lift arm above my past 180 deg. Possible torn rotator cuff...Lower back so stiff I can't get out of bed without grabbing bed post. Xrays to lower back and neck shows trauma and compressed discs. Can't do sit-ups anymore or go to the gymn.

Auto repair not covered by Insurance currently over $5K and counting. Car is still at the Body Shop. Been in a rental for 27 days and counting...

AMGSC - that sucks man - sincerely sorry to hear. I don't know what your lawyer says, but waiting an entire month to get diagnostic imaging done after noticing symptoms following an incident like this, is not good. Bad (or lack thereof) advice on your lawyer's part. Any ambulance-chaser would advise otherwise (no offense to any lawyers in this forum!!). Then again, you may not be interested in getting compensation for medical treatment via legal action. One could make the case that you had a mild rotator cuff tear and because of negligence, it developed into a more severe tear. Bottom line, if you/doctor suspects a rotator cuff tear, you need your arm in a sling (like yesterday), and take some photos.

You need to delete this whole thread! Just my opinion and wise advice. Especially the part where you were thinking of defrauding the Insurance Co. with the deductable by asking the Tire shop to raise the price on your receipt.

For an intelligent person you sure have made some indiscretional posts in this thread and other threads you have posted where possible litigation could have perhaps served in your favor.
You sound like a sadist that loves to make himself suffer just for your own enjoyment.

Robert use your head man,and not just your emotions when posting.

PS: get rid of that car and just by an E55k. Your stubborness is just gonna screw you royally with tons of change out of pocket. This will only further prove the sadistic approach you have been taking if you don't just get rid of this car!

i dont understand the call for the thread to be deleted. if he's milking or abusing
the system, or perpetuating an illegality, why should his posts be withdrawn.....
because he's a fellow MB owner? if he isn't scamming, then there's nothing to
worrry about

It's just the opposite, he is hurting himself in that he may not get everything he should because he keeps posting. Hasn't your lawyer told you this? If not, fire him.

Uh I haven't seen him post recently, so maybe he got the message. I also don't think you can delete a thread after its been up for 2 days.

What I think he should do is not get a E55K just get another C55 and modify it with Renntech.
