is the sl55 splitter suppose to bolt right up to the c32 boxes? i bought the whole setup but seems like the splitter tubing is bigger than the outlet of the c32 box. just curious....i will be fitting the entire airboxes etc soon but last week tried to fit just the splitter and it was a no go.

here is what i did, go to ace or any hardware store and buy a rubber coupler for pvc piping that fits over the outlets on the airboxes. trim it so you have an o ring for each box and get 2 clamps that fit on the splitter. slide the splitter over the o ring you just made and it will fit. the o ring works as a reducer for the splitter. i did AMG Jerry's like this also, no issues and it is a perfect install.

Yup, the pipe is not a direct bolt on. You can easily modify it like prossi said. If that sounds too scary for you, you can buy one premodified from Evosport, but you pay for the convenience

Yup, it's that simple. I think I paid like $4 for the rubber coupler with the clamps already on each side. Perry had it done in like 20 minutes with no issues.

looking at the sl55 air boxes they are better than the c32 but still- the area below the filter element itself seems cramped. can't be good for flow. seems that i need to apply some heat and see if i can soften the plastic and bend it out a bit.

will try get this installed this weekend. will post feedback.
