I am making room for another Porsche next spring.
The M3 is the best all around car I have ever owned.
Every dept it's covered.
Styling, exclusivity of the ZCP, Mpower, brakes, (suspension needs work) CSL wheels, Alcatera interior and sporty seats. We are going to get rid of the clutch diverter valve too. Thats gotta go.
Plus I scored it an invoice.

I remember when Vader had the 240... lol. Around same time I think it was that Jason(brabuscclass) got his 240 kleemanized and then Vader stepped up to a C32. He loved his C32... so I don't think he is knocking the AMG. He is cool, even though his a$$ made fun of my Slow230...haha. I am probably going to pick up a BMW this year because the bmw dealer is 10 mins from my house and I am tired of driving 2 hours to service the benz. I am going to pick up a 335 because it seems like a fun DD. Unlike some people out there, I am not going to compare it to an M or a P car..... that's just stupid. Too many people buy cars to try and impress others.. I say enjoy whatever it is you drive and spend sensibly while investing in your future. I enjoyed my 3.5 years of driving my SLOW230.... but I never thought it was in the same caliber as a C32/55. Thinking like that only shows immaturity and insecurities, and leads people to partake in the big dikc contest.

Agree M3 is on a differnt level to 335i, which is v. plain looking.

I used to own an E36 3.2 Evo (321bhp) and in no way did it handle like the E46 and had v.slow steering(i also used to have the e46 CSL until an unforunate acccident at croft racetrack)

Comp. pkg brakes are very strong, even up for tarck use. their grouchy nature and noise just adds character!

the M3 engine isn't perfect, a little scratchy at low revs and strained right at the top but overall it is a masterpiece and has a sweetspot like few others

I had the C240 6 speed, a C230 Daily a C32 a ML500 Inpseration all from 2001-2005.. I love the Benz Power bt I can tell you guys.
If you want to drive on any road besides a highway, BMW is the way to go.
Yeah the Comp wheels are CSL style but still made by BBS.
I am IN LOVE with the Comp M Specific Interlagos Blue, I had is Zymol'd and its dripping hot sex.
I did clear bra it too.
The NA M3 motor is really sweet too, I am doing the Rouge Rasp Pipe to get rid of the high pitched scream in the exhaust and ad more grow and flow.
The stock suspension is good, but you guys all know we can do better with some coil overs and beefy adjustable sways.
I also did a wicked JL system in this car.

No thanks on the stick dude....... not on my DD . I'll be happy with a slush box that is fun to drive. I looked at the e46 m3 and e60 5series hard for a while, but I didn't like the Idrive in the 5er at all and honestly didn't want a final production year car. I decided to settle for something because I am picking up a 2nd house and would like to go back to school within next 2 years. I drive my cars and sell them to people I know at 4 year mark..... Now the new Z4M would have been already in my garage if it came with SMG. That's why I don't understand why anyone would buy a new 335 stick and not get the Z4M..... hardly a difference in $$ at all.

I have had a M3 before my Benz..
Als I bought my mom an X5 last year. Its a quality brand.
The X5 smokes my ML too.
Porsche is good, but they are limited, AMGs are boring.
The only other opton would be AUDI, but I don't want to go AWD again.
The M3 Comp is the best rounded sport/DD car on the market right now.
AND I AM NOT GOING AMERICAN..lmao

i also test drove a gt3 (05 w/ 4000mi) on it but i dont think itll be a good dd and i dont wanna risk buying a car, i prefer leasing, you never know when some dumb **** will drive up your *** etc..

i wanted a white e46 cs w/ a stick, there are none in the country

now im down to a 997S w/ sport chrono or a m5 (supposedly it comes w/ a stick in 07 but the dsc cant be fully disabled, im going to call dinan to see if they can reprogram that, i dont want another amg eps off bull****)

IF it's your primary car, take my advice, do not go from a E55 to a Carrera.

I had an M3 before dude..I was just caught up in the C32 vs E46M3 battles.
I put alot of miles on my GT3 man and used it for a movie, that was a big part of me getting it, I got really good money for it too.
It did suck as a DD and is way more raw than your Viper.

i had a clk55, im now driving my moms e55 (i can just keep that, but i dont want to, i cant stop doing burnouts/peelouts ) i would go through rear tires every 2-3 months, no joke. this ****in thing burns out from a 20mph roll even when i try to take off quickly but w/o burning out it still does it. maybe i should drive w/ the esp on.

why no 997? i just wan your point of view since you had a p car.
the only limiting factor i see is storage space, is there anything else?
the suspension can be put to comfort, it feels roomier than my clk inside too.

IF i can have a m5 w/ a 6speed and fully disabled dsc then i will seriously consider it, otherwise i dunno.

i also drove a rs4, what a car, if i needed/liked 4wd that would be it. the engine is right up there w/ m motors in the way it hums in on redline over the last 1000 or so rpms and i know i will be untouchable in the canyons in a 4wd car (i already am). but i love burnouts/drifting

drove the caymans s too, great but too cramped and too slow.

02 996tt, way too easy to drive, there is no peak, it pulls everywhere just like the 55k, its easy and very fast but no fun and is definitely not a sports car, its a gt.

If the E is your moms car and you want out go for the carrera. Porsche really depend on your lifestyle. If you need space, do not get one.
M5's are big, why not try a M3?

btw, i have driven a GT3, in no way is that car more raw then a Viper, lol sorry. That thing drives like a Cadillac compared to my Viper. Although i still LOVE the GT3.
