2006 BMW X5 4.8is and 2005 C55 AMG
Uh how was this guy even sure he raced a C55? A lot of losers rebadge their C230. My pusssy neighbor just got a 335i last week, but doesn't want to race me. Oh god how I want to race one though. I will drive up to 50 miles just to get a taste if anyone out there wants to have a go. Oh lord please grant my wish and give me some 335i.

I'm not sure that guy knows a C55 from a C230. Maybe the C55 wasnt racing? lol that and 112 Miles on the car very stupid to push it. Aspeshaly with a turbo engine. Also strange, dosnt seem that he knows how to use his car so im sure he didnt launch it (turbo lag) No way he would take a C55 like that. and the last thing two people in one car and his *** only in his car another 200 pounds extra. But to be honset I have ambaressed myself in my
C32 bunch of times when the ESP goes off and I cuz i lost traction when Im trying to get around people on a light lol

kinda sucks that a simple chip on the 335 will walk the E46 M3 and another 2k in mods will prolly walk the next M also
rumors for the next M3 are 309 ftlb and 414 hp
chip and half *** exhaust on the 335 running 91 oct made 400 ftlbs and like 390 bhp
that was only a 2 psi boost bump too(stock boost is 9psi)
93oct 14psi and full exhaust will have this car over 400 whp and rwt
add a suspention and an lsd and you one hell of a car

Why didn't you replace your GT3 w/ TT? That should do it, shouldn't it?
Anyway, would like to see how this 335i runs against C55. If what he claims is true, it means 335i is faster than, or as fast as, E46 M3
If the 335i is chipped, it may have been more believable.
Vader, is your M3 still stock? If so, you could post a challenge in that bimmerforum. M3 is about the same as C55 (at least based on my experience - 0-80 M3 is slightly faster - 0.5-1 car length, then C55 starts to walk due to big V8 engine - 0.5-1.5 car @ 130mph).
This means... if stock M3 is dead even w/ stock 335i to 60, I'll believe the OP. Otherwise, it's just a wishful thinking.

I am doing UUC sways, Rouge Rasp Pipe and Pss9's next week. Its a stick.
I might supercharge it down the road, but I like warranties.
I love AMG's ( for noobs I had a C32) but no stick, no thanx.
I sold my GT3 for a great price before the 997GT3 come out and before it hit 20K miles (Death for a Porshe)
It was the funnest car I ever had, but the M is pretty awesome too, especially the Lagos Blue Competition M that I got.
This car will always hold a great value.
As for the 335, they are still 3 series, they might be tunable but no LSD, no nimble M reactions and they are just a quick 3 series.
As for tuning them get ready for BMWNA to be on the lookout and viod everyones warranties, just for the fact that they want to protect the M's.
I think the C63 is going to be wicked in 2 years I will look at that car and the new M.

believe it or not the 335 is neck to neck with the e46 M3 all the way up to about 75 ish.the stock system in the 335 tampers boost to 4psi after 5k and thats when the M3 takes off on the 335.The massive torque is what helps the 335 keep up
the 335 traps anywhere from 103-105 and is just under 5 seconds to 60
once a 335 is chiped theres no chance a stock or even highly NA modded M3 can keep up
heck a chipped 335 puts down more torque than a supercharged M3 lol

Yeah but it will be murdered in the twistes by the M3. So would the C55
I have owned AMG's, Porsches, Audis and driven the 335.
The M3 for all forms of sports driving is the best hands down (besides the GT3 but the M is more pratical) life is not a drag race.
Driving is an experience and having a fast car is not whats its all about.
I just got out of a car that I took up to 185 and has the 0-100 of a Gallardo.
It's not all that.
You never utalize all the power.
for the price of a chipped 335 I could make a super civic that can beat up anything on a dragstrip.
GO drive the BMW335 supercar and you will disapointed..

The 335 has better brakes than an e46 M3 and did the ring a few seconds slower than the M3
This is with a 3.08 open diff rear end and the power being tampered down after 5k
If the 335 had the same gearing as the e46 and an LSD it would of beaten the e46 M3 hands down around the ring.
The car is basically 50/50 weight balanced and still a BMW ...NOT A CIVIC
the e46 dosnt come close to murdering this car
I would say the complete oposite.I test drove one twice and had 4 people in the car and the AC on and it pulled clean from 2k in 3rd.I would say that clearly murders an e46 lol.

I don't give a **** if the 335 sprouts wings and kills airplanes. Its still a 335. e46 M3, or C32, or C55 all day long. Exclusivity of an M or AMG over a 335 anyday of the week.

I have an e36 M3 sitting in the shop getting a rebuild and another dif put together.I had an e46 and was sold 2 years ago.
The 335 out stops the e46 go do a little researh on the massive brakes the car has
and I have driven both and almost signed for a 335 but decided to wait it out.
the dealer is actually still calling me lol.You don't take 2 test drives on a car your not thinking about buying.
funny thing was they told me they are having a hard time getting rid of the 4 06 e46 M3 that were sitting right next to the 335s
My e36 has over 6k in suspention mods and would love to run you at any track event.
have you ever driven an e36 M3 ? maybe you should see what a 3000 lb M3 feels like around a track

Whatever dewd, my brand new limited Interlagos Blue 06 ZCP M was 6 grand more than a new 335..There was also only 2 new ones left in the country.
335 will sell better because it's cheaper and the world is full of guys who can't pony up the extra money to get in the M or AMG club.

if your happy with your car thats great.But you can't deny that BMW hasnt seriously steped it up with the 335
I like to think of it as a step between the reg 3 series and a true M power
To tell you the truth you kinda got the M3 a little late.You paid alot for a car that is on its last year of production and a new M right around the corner.
there are plenty of e46 m3 in the low 30ks now and with really low miles.I would of just waited it out for the next M if I was in your shoes,wich is the main reason I am waiting it out with the 335.
47k is a nice chunk to put down for the next M
I honestly am thinking about getting back into another e46 until the second year run of the new M
the prices have started to go down and are really more appealing than droping 47k on a 335
theres a sick e46 02 with 32k miles lowered,nav and 19s that is selling for 32k

They are making up for the fact the car is so damn ugly if anything.
I really am a fan of the W203 and E46 bodystyles.
The new cars..not so much.
I might get used to in a couple years though.
Yes the 335 has a ton of hype, but I tested one and I instalty felt like some random tool in a 3 series. I could tell right off the bat the car needed serious suspension work and some kind of LSD upgrade, no matter how quick it is I can't deal with that.
I do have pride..lmao
My car recent record is all AMG, M or GT class Porsche.
These class cars have the extra race bred support that I need as a starting platform.
I did have a stage 3 A4 and a 6 speed C240 ( but that was history)
You need to know I love this M3 and its never too late. I got a LIMTED M3 COMPETITION, Not a standerd M3..gezzs crist
Its a good DD that I am keeping and my 997GT3 will be my second car. please just STFU now.
