C32 Buyers Guide
What things should I look out for in a C32?
We have a 2002 C32 on our lot.
Beige on black
50k miles
Looks nice. Planning on trying to work the numbers.
What things should I look out for?
What breaks?
Right now I'm driving a Saab 9-5 Aero. I like it, but I want a RWD car again.

Wow, Saab. I just heard they finished dead last in the JD Power Customer Satifaction index. So, basically, the C32, no matter what the problems, should be a step up.
Seriously, you should drive it enough to feel if the transmission has a fairly severe "jerk" between 2nd and 3rd, usually under 2200 rpm. Next, the supercharger intercooler pump is a sure-fire failure. A dealer should be able to tell you if it has been replaced already. Symptoms of a bad pump are total loss of power under warm conditions.
Those are the issues I've delt with. They have not taken my joy of driving the car away though. I was out of town this weekend, in my wife's minivan, and found myself missing the C32 almost as much as my wife. Is that wrong?
edit: I just re-read the question. Beige on black? I don't remember any beige on black options for the C32. Beige?
