'06 C55 AMG

Strange sound

I'm wondering if anyone is having this problem. Everytime I start the car, I hear a clanking sound coming from the engine. After the car warms up it seems to go away. Is this something that happens or should I get the car checked out?

What do you mean? Where are the lifters located?

Right above the valves.

I think its normal. I don't have a 203, but right when I start the motor cold in the morning, it rapidly clicks/tinks for a few seconds and idles fine.
