![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
hey guys my check engine light came on and i read the code on a od2 scanner and it said that cylinder # 3 was miss firing. if you guys can answer some questions of mine it would be help full. i have a 32 amg motor.
1. when it miss fire's does that mean it has to be either my spark plugs, spark plug wires, or the coil ???
2. could there be something wrong with my motor ?
3. where is cylinder # 3 ?
4. if question 1 was yes, how do i check to see which one went bad ??
thanks for all the help guys.

As far as your questions go, #1 is it. I doubt there is anything wrong with your motor. I would first make sure that the wire for cylinder 3 is seated correctly. In fact, now would be a good time to check them all. Take off the pulley cover, air boxes, and inlet hoses, then look at the front of the engine on the left and right sides. You will see numbers on each side that correspond to your cylinder order.
Take a look at the pictures I took when I upgraded my plugs and wires. They should help you get this figured out.
Click here for the plugs and wires pics.
Here is a pic that shows where you can find the cylinder order.

Audi C7.5 S6
Firing order
C32 firing order: 1-4-3-6-2-5
Firewall
3.....6
2.....5
1.....4
Front bumper
So number three is the rear, next to firewall on passenger side.
The plug could be cracked, wrong gap, have a problem
with the wire or coil. Pull both plugs on #3 and look at them.
