Jerry,

Based on that video, the sound maybe bad, but not that bad. Did you try to listen to the exhaust in an outdoor environment?

The sound could improve a bit if you listen to it from outside the car in an outdoor environment.

Keep us updated after the aftermarket resinator is installed.

Good luck...

Thanks! Let me know when you are in the area and we'll see if we can't set something up.

There are cars that are much better than mine that made it to the last Chicago meet, so maybe we can do something like that again.

If you want to see a bad a$$ car, take a look at jgsx's!

I knew this would happen, but the loudness is growing on me.

I'm going to get it installed right now. Be back in a few....

I feel like a little kid that just got a new toy!

The resonator fixed all of the sounds problems and the car sounds fantastic.

Here are two videos (as requested), one of a fly by and one with me revving it up.

Here is the resonator.

Sounds very nice, now, congratulations. So you have new cats, muffler, resonator and pipes? Now for some serious tuning.

hmm, there seems to be some odd white stuff on the ground, which is only normally only seen on the hill tops, around here.

He used ss piping from the headers to the cats, then used the factory piping from the cats to the Y-pipe and then used stainless steel all the way back to the Eisenmann, which is also stainless.

I didn't want to use the SS mandrel bends that I have at home until I get the system finished. I'm still not sure if an H-pipe will be needed or not and I won't know until more tuning is done. After I get my power back up, I'm going to try to pop in an H-pipe between the factory pipes and see what that does to back pressure / scavenging. After I figure out if the H is needed, I will use the mandrel bends to finish the system so that it is all stainless.

Basically, I want to rip apart the factory pipes and leave the mandrel bends in tact...for now.

We used a thermal temp gun to read the temps down the pipes. In theory, you test temps down the pipes and when they start to show a lower temp, that is where the H needs to be. In our test, it was in the middle of the factory pipes, before the bracket on each side. Next test will be measure back pressure and see if it's too high or not and that should be the power maker. If we can get the cars scavenging perfect, then there should be room for HP on the top end while maintaining low end torque.

Here are some pics. The red circles indicate where the H would need to be.

My guess is that exhaust system gains won't be too significant until the exhaust side of the head is port matched to the headers. Try that first and share the results.

Another thing...This car is so picky about back pressure / scavenging, that it should have a back pressure monitor / valve. The monitor should measure flow rate / RPM and adjust the back pressure via the valve to maximize low end torque and high RPM HP on the fly. The work around is to get HP and Trq even enough to where your happy with power, but I bet an extra 10-15 HP could be gained if we had this system.

Schrick makes them for C32... I think they are $2,200 (just parts)
Kleemann also makes them for C32... Kleemann ones are $3,200

Thanks - I called Turner and they are 690Euro for each one (schrick) which is about $1900. There is a 2 week turn around time, so hopefully they will come in and be able to get installed within a month.

He is going to call me on Monday to place the order after he confirms the price and availability.
