C63 or E55 or CLS55/63
Ok just read in November issue of r&t mag that MB is gonna introduce a new in 2007 as a 2008 C63 tuned down to 450 hp. I don't know much else cause it really didn't explain much but it seems like the engine is like its siblings which are over 500 hp but tuned down to 450 hp DOES this means you can retune it up to the 500+ hp like the siblings? If you guys had a chose which would you pick a 2008 C63/E55/CLS55/63?

with so many responses to the E63 well gonna have to keep an eye on it. price is an issue and i will say a used version is within what i desire to spend. CLS63 and E63 might be to pricey for my taste. plus they don't seem much faster then the CLS55 and E55. the only advantage to a 63 is the fact that i can add a sc to them thats it to me. I think that being the case a C63 is a smarter choice with retuning and a SC i could possibly be looking at 600 hp so its a hard choice but it might be cheaper to go with a used CLS55 or E55 and lightly mod it. power hungry i think the CLS55, E55, or C63 are very good choices.

I would like to know the forums opinion thats all. I feel many of you have alot of knowledge in MB stuff and thus value your opinions. Remember its a future purchase so I just want opinions.

I'd look at the E55... power, comfort, luxury, sleeper, plenty of space.... sexy as hell. My number 1 choice was the CLS55, but my love for that car is dying out. Maybe I'm just sick of seen it out here.

C63...
lighter than E55.
about the same space,
no air suspension.. (cool, but handling is weak)
no supercharger heat soak
no bad IC Pumps
7 speeds
I love my E55, and with the ASP PULLEY is awsome. But my IC pump is going bad and I'm loosing power just like other memberse. Time to use the CPO warranty. Power is great, and torque is awsome. But braking and handling is poor.
But I'm getting a bit tired of the kompressor set up.
My next car would gave turbos or NA.
E55 is a very nice car, but I rather have a E63 at this point

what is ur budget, since you will not be considering the cls63 or e63
if you thinking about used car, i would say e55, cause if you get c63, price is gonna be like half of what you paid for in 2 years

Stock though a C63 will be faster and handle way better then any E55. Also if any tuners come out with turbos for the 63 motor look out cause no 55 I don't care how modded it is it won't be able to touch it.
