It should fit but will need lots of modifications. The first problem is that an SLK has two pipes coming from the engine under the car where a C32 only has one pipe. You would need to fab up a connector behind the mufflers to merge the pipes to one pipe.

Also like itsmeek said, you would need to remove your spare tire tub because the muffler won't fit on the passenger side with the stock c32 spare tub. The gas tank will not be a problem.. it's not located in a position to effect your install.

I did a conversion with a C55 exhaust. It was almost a direct bolt on except for the spare tub. You can just remove it all together to save money but you will need to cover that huge hole in your trunk with something. The C55 spare tub is about 300 bucks.

Here is a link to my thread.. The pics should be helpful and show what i mean about one pipe under the car..

thanks for the helpful comments guys...amgmark, the only thing i don't like about that setup you did is that it is not a true dual setup, not knocking it though, you did a great job with the conversion...that is why i was looking at the slk55 exhaust...oh well...

Yeah, there isn't a way to have a true dual exhaust unless you replace everything.. probably from the headers back..

One thing to remember though.. The SLK55 does not have a supercharger.. I believe we have the one pipe to equalize the back presure for the SC.. That may be something to consider. Maybe someone else can chime in on that one..

You might not need to remove your spare tub for a magnaflo.. It depends on how big the mufflers are..

Does anyone have a magnaflow setup on their w203? If so, how is the sound and do you like it?

ant, how much are the magnaflows? I think POWA had a clip of someone with a c320 with a magnaflow exhaust.

I think you should run a straight pipe first. then throw in an exhaust. thats what I did. I think i might even cut the cats and see how it runs.

you can do a magnaflow setup with quad tips without using the C55 wheel tub. However it can only be a single muffler setup and you will lose the resonator as the muffler has to be mounted in place of the resonator to have the easiest way. Or you can place the muffler at the orignal location and run extended pipes along the rear of the stock wheel tub, but not most shop are skilled enough to do this.

If you are in LA check out speedway muffler in rowland heights, it's off Nogales on 60fwy behind the Danny's. they've done both.

i went by my usual muffler shop, there isnt a way to run to mufflers..i have to get a magnaflow muffler that has a 2-1 outlet and run a pipe with tips off of it. the guy at the shop said he jus got in with a new vendor who has some really nice stainless tips with chrome shells, hes really boasting about them and kept saying that he really is impressed with the quality. hes gonna give me a call on the 1st when they have a set to show me, supposedly they are round slash cut, staggered, which in turn will look very much like amg tips he claims, and will looks good with a amg kit. he told me he should be able to do the magnaflow muffler with dual outlets and tips installed for around 400 ish.

advans i do have the straight pipe, u know whats amazing to me?, the muffler shop said that when he put the resonator in, that the diameter of the piping was 3 in. thats really big for such a weak motor. dont you guys think? no wonder we have crappy low end tq. lol
