I have yet to be beat from 0-100 by any street car on the road or at the track. That includes the following:

996 Turbo S 6-0
Gallardo 2-0
Viper 9-0
Murchello 1-0
F360 4-0
F430 1-0
Yamaha 600 Sport Bikes 3-0
2006-2007 Z06 2-0

3.73 Gears and 3800 stall with 305 Drag radials - 0-60 mid to low 3 secs! I know all the above cars are faster but not near as quick!

On Mickey T's ET Streets, ran a best 11.23 at 120.07 with a 1.59 60'!
On the defense of the 600 sport bike................it must have been a newbie cause an experienced racer would of killed you. 0-60 and quarter miles are faster then what you claim to do and thats out of factory. When I had my R1 no car could touch me and raced a couple of Vipers also a twin turbo viper and it got KILLED from 0-150mph. I didn't look to see where you are from but if you are ever in the burbs of Chicago and want to be able to post you took out 600 with seasoned riders on it let me know. Where those standard 600s or R6? Maybe there might of been a chance against a standard 600 but I doubt it against the factory super 600s. If you in another state I might be able to find you a real race against a R6. I bet they would video tape it to.

I can say that I have had friends run C32's on the road in LS1 powered F-Bodies (C5 equivalent). Races have went both ways both at the track and on the street, from rolls and stops.

I would choose the C6 anyday of the week with the LS2 motor and the new Z06's are hands down winners period.

My Z28 LS1 heads/cam etc. 390 rwhp 390 rwtq has yet to suffer a defeat to a C32 or 55. My car pulls strong up to 146 mph (the fastest I have went in it).

I would like to get a hold of a new C6 to see the result but I have yet to get an owner to play. Probably a good thing in the end.
From your reported 390rwhp 390 rwto, if well driven you'd deff take a STOCK C6, they dyno stock at 340-350rwhp 345-355rwto, unless you weigh obscenely more than 3180lbs..which I doubt, it would be a good race w/you out front walking the C6...

Good post thanks for posting

3.73' -3.90' in the A4 are a MONSTER upgrade, turns the Vette into a street/track launching weapon, coupled w/stall converter your bragging rights are 100% in order and totally believable...

I am in Dallas. I raced 600 cc bikes dont know if they were R6 or not. I have raced 1000 cc bikes at the track and get them out of the hole pretty well. Once they get rolling they blow by me at around 80ish. A 600 cc bike runs mid 11's at around the 5 mph faster than my vette.

I guess if you can launch a bike hard they would be unbeatable but getting thrown from a bike would suck.

I love the guys that do wheelies down the tollway at 70 mph. Crazy bikers.

They are very hard to launch especially the literbikes but the 600s are alot easier and I can see you taking the holeshot but not the victory over a seasoned rider on a 600. Sorry but not to believable to me. I seen much faster cars then what you claim get easily taken out by 600s it not even funny.............thericker hey if you feel your vette can handle the same or better then race one and put it on video. If you had a supercar maybe but otherwise I don't think so. I can go to the bike forums and I bet I can find 600s in your area to race anyone of you. You might be a threat to cars but not to 600 and above bikes. Also I had asked before how race with evilempire and others went and no responce. Cars like the Bugatti Veyron put out bike crushing numbers and better 0 to 100 to 0 what can you do?

Go to yamaha.com, honda.com, suzuki.com or even bike mags and it'll show time there.

the R6, CBR 6 OR 600 suzuki all run under the 11 sec mark.............ofcourse on a closed circuit track with prof rider

I've been to the track with both the Z06 and C32 stock and modded.

The Z06 is looked like it was harder to launch. Back was sliding alot.

Z06 hit mid-low 12's to high 11's after much launching attempts.
Modded C32 with Renntech was hitting mid 12's
Stock C32 was hitting mid 13's

SL65 also at the track hit 11.7's with ease. With better launch or tires I bet the SL65 could do 11.3 or lower.

(all cars were using street tires)

I know this thread is dead- but corvette guys really get on my nerves. I dont know why so many people go buy these cheap american vettes, GTOs', and CTS-Vs - go straight home and go talk **** on our forums. Furtermore, its extraordinarily annoying when you post a kill and people make you analyze time of day, temp, road conditions, shoe size, tire brand, date of birth etc... And yes, I do have room to talk as once I myself was confused in life as I purchased a 2002 corvette non Z06 6mt.

What I don't understand is why these folks buy these great, multi-purpose cars, and then drag race them. Or worse, engage in shakey-camera, dark-of-night, honk-three-times, 25-to 100 MPH races, and then declare their car to be "better" because it won.

If you have $40-50,000 to buy a car like this, you have $400 to attend a sanctioned road course HPDE and REALLY figure out what a car can do.

I am glad your confused. Cause if you bought a vette and did not enjoy how it drove, you cant drive. The handling and excelleration are excellent. You cant alk about cheap interior but my 1998 convertible does not have a single rattle. Thats 7 years 60k miles and the car still gets me excited to drive it.

Oops, I guess that makes me confused.

I said nothing about not enjoying how it drove. I enjoyed how it drove- could you please read first? To me the vettes just lack character. Just personal preference. I hate non-classic american cars. Except Panoz.

Uhm. Yeah, as I said- for the most part, if it is an american car I dislike it if it is not a classic. I really dislike any mustang/camaro after the late 60s. I cant apologize for personal preference. And Frank- as a matter of fact I am not particularly crazy about the S7. Should I find myself in a position to purchase a car priced greater than $300,000 I would much prefer a nice porsche/ferrari and save some money- to me, S7s are too gaudy like Lambos. Thats how I feel about them- I know you feel different which is fine.

When I purchased my 02' vette it was fun (back in 02)- but i was jealous when I saw guys in nice porsches/AMGs,///M's. The ONLY vette i half-way like is the brand new ZO6. Its still not as much my style, but I like it somewhat. Frank, I am from Ga- every redneck that gets financed purchases a Vette/stang to complement their oversized Ford truck. That really spoils it for us down here- thats why down here the consensus veiw is that vettes lack character- it may be different where you are from.

I have seen a lot of posts you have written and generally agree with you- just respect our differences of opinion.

I like American Trucks better...But thats about it.
