Tips for running autos on a chassis dyno?

I took my C32 to a dyno shootout day a few weeks ago, and it took quite a few attempts to get a good power run without kickdown getting in the way. I was pleased with the result though: 296bhp & 297lbft at the wheels.

I'm now planning another shootout and there'll be quite a few autos there - albeit only a few C32s. To make sure it goes smoothly, it would be good to hear any tips or ideas you may have used to perform successful power runs in an auto - and avoid dreaded kickdown!!

If any UK members fancy coming along - let me know - venue not yet confirmed but likely early May, and somewhere central so as many people can attend as possible from MBClub.co.uk

PS Anyone know if entering dyno mode on the C32 is the same as other MB models, eg R170 SLK320?

Thanks in anticipation...
