Copy these numbers down:

07 Key: 211 766 36 06
Blade: 203 766 50 06

Go to the parts department and buy those parts in accordance to your VIN. You are going to have show proof of ownership and ID.

I dunno where Maryville is, but if is close to Hoffman you can def. do it there. It's where I got mine.

I finally got mine yesterday. I bought mine from MB-Orland Park over the phone. I placed an order with just my VIN number and gave him my cc...2 days later I went to pick up my key. He didn't check my ID but checked my cc that I used...

They (Jamie) is a little slow at their responses. If you provided your VIN # and faxed in your proof of ownership you should be good. Just keep trying to call him.

Yeah, mine took 21 days. Jamie is slow but he has come through with everyone, I think, so far. Just be patient. He is terrible at responding to VM's or emails.

Uhh..have you noticed anywhere in the previous 39 postings here or anywhere in this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...ight=style+key , any referrences to a company that starts with an "OEM" and ends with "partsdirect.com". They run the same order engine as Duval but Jamie is still taking orders, as far as I know.

Got mine ordered just before the price increase. The same part number brings up a price of $140 or so for the same thing I ordered for $61 and some change shipped to my door. I received a tracking number so my key should be on it's way.... Thanks guys.

I figured I'd give the dealer a shot. MB of Chicago wanted about $240 for the fob+blade. I passed.

Does the panic button work for everyone? I tried using it today to mess with my friend who was trying to get into my car...nothing happened.

Maybe the car knew it was a false alarm?

BTW, my panic button doesn't work either.. oh well.. I also had my SAM changed to the netherlands setting at the same time which may have been the cause. (Netherlands setting makes the alarm chirp, compared to stock with no chirp)

The panic works just fine on the new kew I received from OEMpartsdirect, when held for more than a second or 2. I understood the panic button is non-funtiontional when in the Netherlands mode.
