Considering a C32 -- Advice?

I'm considering replacing my '04 C230ss with a C32 this spring. The C230 is a great car I bought new but now, coming up on the 3-year anniversary, I'm thinking I'd like something a bit more exciting. A used C32 will clearly offer more bang for the buck than any new car could for the same price.

If I do this, I think I'm going to target an '03-04 model with less than 35k on the odometer. I've researched this forum and came up with some good tips about problem areas and differences between the years so I'm pretty well versed on that now. I have a few questions on things I'm not 100% clear on yet, however:

1. What price should I expect to pay for a good, well-maintained '03-04 with less than 35k miles? Real world prices definitely seem to be cheaper than Edmunds and KBB suggest from I'm seeing on Autotrader.com and comments on this Board. I need to come in below $30k for sure. Seems from what I read here and what I'm seeing on Autotrader, that shouldn't be a problem.

2. What are some good sources for used C32s? Obviously, there's this Board, Autotrader, and Roadfly.com. Any other suggestions? I'd prefer a car owned and maintained by an enthusiast.

3. What were the C32 production figures for U.S. models, if anyone knows? I can't seem to find this information on the web or this forum.

4. Any other comments and suggestions.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated!

My '03 is for sale. $28.5k. It has ~50k miles on it and it's Starmarked. It's in excellent condition and has all options besides Nav. Right now it's just sitting in the garage until it's sold

Email me at sddesigns@yahoo.com if you want pics. I have tons. I don't check this forum much so I will not likely see any replies to this thread or PMs.
