I received $29,560 for my C32, that is $1700 more then I paid for it, so am pretty happy about that. The car was loaded and had 32K miles on it.

I am due one more surgery next Thursday, I will be having a bone graft done at that time. Doc say's I only need to stay in the hospital for 1 day. Then it is time to start healing and getting better.
Glad you're on the road to recovery. Good choice on your new wheels, a nice, big, safe cruiser is just what the doctor ordered.

Time to update everyone. I am hopefully all done with surgery now, I just have to wait and hope things heal properly. My pain levels are down now to the point I barely take anything for it anymore. It's been a hell of a ridethough, I just hope to get back to walking soon. I picked up a new rolex recently, one that is a bit nicer and brand new. Once I start walking again I think I will be buying a 2004ish E55. I will not be raceing it anywhere other then at the track Take it slow everyone and god bless...

Below is the result of what my car looks like now. I had a seat belt on, but thank god it snapped at just the right time. I ended up ejected from the car, passed out for 20 minutes. I shattered my left leg bone right above the ankle, collapsed a lung, broke my sternum and got bruised and cut all over. My face only has a little scratch left on it. Right now I have a external metal brace drilled into my leg and I have a 4th leg surgery this Thursday. Other then that I am pretty much fully healed up minus some aches and pains... Anyways, I just wanted to share what happened since I still can't believe I am alive, let alone with pretty much only busted leg. I did not believe in God before, but now I do. This is not a joke, for any one thinking I found these pics or something.... People at the hospital call me the miracle child, the junk yard put a pic of this on the wall because it's the worst accident they have ever seen. BTW, the car lit on fire shortly after rescue got me out... Life goes on God bless!
not calling u a liar its just hard to believe. but u said u were injected and then u said they got u out after it started on fire. anyway y didnt u do a resonator delete?

Yes, I was ejected from the car, correct. After they took me away from the crash the trunk of the car set fire.

Guys, I think he proved that it's true. He posted pics and everything (dunno if they are still working now).

Anyway, emax, are you seriously thinking of getting an E55?? Don't you think you should take it a little slow/easy? I know you won't drive fast, but it's kinda of like playing with a gun and promising not to shoot. Just don't play with it then.

E350 sport package seems like a good deal.

Just a little update with my progress. I went to the Doctor a couple of days ago for some more X-Rays. They showed a massive amount of healing, the Doctor was shocked with how well everything is healing. I am suppose to be walking again on June 21st, the 1st day of summer. My bone is healing almost twice as thick as it originaly was, it should be stronger then before after a few more months.

I picked up a 2004 E55, loaded, one month ago. I have managed to keep it on the pavement and I plan to continue to do so

Listen, just make sure your insurance company totals the car...you don't want to have to explain that it's been repaired...you'd never get a fair price for it

Wow, glad to hear you are doing OK. MB may be interested in your story as a testament of safety... they may interview you and write an article in their official MB magazine.

I don't think they would want to publish the seat belt failing and him getting ejected from the vehicle

I'm glad to see that you made it through okay.... You're about as lucky as this guy:

What you see is what you get, i.e. there was no cutting of the vehicle prior to the pictures being taken.
It is my brother-in-law that you see holding the mobile phone, he honestly doesn't know the speed that he was going at but wasn't near as fast as he has done in the past on that particular part of the road.
Although the road was completely dry he said that it felt he was on ice and the car just careened into the tree. He actually called the emergency services and climbed out of the car by himself, he spent only a couple of hours in hospital, apart from a few minor scratches he got a bandage around his little finger, I told him if he's not already religious he should take it up ASAP!

The car WAS a pristine RS6 ABT, I was supposed to pick it up that very day to borrow it from him for a week as I've always wanted to try out the ABT version. He really should have simply told me that he didn't want me to drive his car I'm so happy he is alive and all in one piece.

I can see this thread is still alive, lol. I have been walking now for about 3 weeks, I have a little bit of a limp but it's not to bad. I am really enjoying life again and I feel blessed to still be alive. I am actually buying my first house with in the next month, pretty exciting.
