I fixed the grinding noise, and the perpetual looming payout to have my C32 fixed. Below are some pics.

phew... time for sleepy driving!!
but it is very interesting to see that MB quality issues made an AMG customer go over to guy a lexus/toyota. MB should take note of these changes for future production decisions.
Well I bet that Lexus will work better than a C32. Sad but true. The C32 blower, intercooler pump and intercooler core are just to cheaply made. They should not be failing so soon in life. Its hard for the owner of a 25k car to get a bill for 3-4k for a new blower or 3k for a new intercooler core. Thats a lot of money for most people.

nice ride...
but ur going to regret not waiting for the GS460. 380hp and it might just have the 8spd auto box.
still its a nice ride but the 350 has as much hp and better on MPG.
torque is down, but I bet the the 350 weighs a bit less.
congrats...

I have been debating about keeping my C32 or trading it in. Since my car is 100% perfect (at the moment) I have had to think of what could happen.
No matter how I slice it, it is still more cost effective to keep the C.. Looking at the yearly cost; the type of lease I would be looking at is 7200-8400 a year. I paid cash for my c32 so I don't have payments. I would have to have some serious problems to have 8k in repairs per year. Especially since I already have a new SC, and have repaired every other TSB under warranty..
I am holding out for the future.. I see a C63 on the horizon and plan to snap one up! Until then I will drop my 8k in a stage two kit.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Why not an IS? I actually like the new IS design.. That new olive green is pretty cool..

total cost to fix a bad bearing on the compressor clutch.
$110. (30 for parts and shipping and 80 for labor)
anybody that has a noisy clutch... look at your options before going to the dealer and paying $1200 for a new compressor clutch.
you be surprised how easy it is to fix.
