What are the options for a C32? I've seen the CLK option, but isn't that limited to the C55? I've also seen EBay grills, but I would want top quality. Anyone have any suggestions?

PS: I also noticed how our air intake snorkles are 1/2 blocked by the grill and the lip that the grill slots into. Stupid placement. Then again, with forced induction, all you need is clean, cool air. Scoops are not going to create a "forced air" (ram air) effect anyway.

There are quite a few grille options for the C32. Look on formymercedes.com for some ideas. Too bad the CL style grille for the C55(below) doesn't fit our cars.

Some people opt for the newer 05 grille on there older W203:

Mattig grill:

And then there are people with black out oem grilles and custom grilles like these:

This has got to be the best lookin one:

Talk about impulse buying. C55tech had it for $125, add the AMG hood button plus shipping and I'm $200 poorer.

I feel like a recovering alcoholic who just chugged a beer. Damn that mod bug. I'm looking forward to it, though. The OEM grill is SO dreadfully OEM.

it's my friend's car. custom grille and custom lower diffuser made by someone up in NorCal. He had the authentic brabus kit and he bought this setup shown in the pic from another member he knows. I'm not sure who made it, but I do know that lip weights a lot.

the same car is now totalled sitting in the same bodyshop. whatever you see up front along with the front wheel are no longer in it's original shape in the pic. lol

Is there any reason the C55 grill can''t be made to fit by just cutting and regluing where it us bolted up, and maybe trimming it a bit. Or does it have completely the wrong dimensions or something else so it cant be made to fit ?

dimension's completely different.

the Expression CL grille is just what it is. It is a actual CL-class grille. It's slightly off, but they made the mount for the C-class.

Just get a 2005-2007 grille if you want less slats in the grille.

Hey Frank, do you also need to change the hood release lever thing when putting the 2005-2007 grilles on an older W203?

Ordered yesterday. We'll see how long it takes. Pix coming. Unfortunately, we're having some real winter weather so the car's dirty and likely to stay that way for a while.
