Another weird problem...wind coming through window switch
I didn't know until one of my friend told me that she feels cold air coming in through the window switch...sure enough, I felt it too. It's also coming from the side door compartments/pockets.

I have this exact same problem!!!!! It is among a fully 8.5x11 list of problems that are going to be done when I take it in after I take the CA bar and get back from the bahamas. Let me know what you find out if you do before I do in March

It sounds like the plastic in the door has come loose or unsealed. Have you ever opened up the door (aftermarket speakers, etc)? Does it do it worse when you have a window cracked, or does it always behave the same?

Although I don't have the wind problem, I recently swapped the aluminum trim for Brilliant Laurel from a 2004 non-AMG c-class and noted that the door lining from the 2004 car was fitted with a rubber boot that covered the entire power window switch. My '05 C55 did not have this boot, but it would seem that this would easily prevent any wind from coming through. The rubber boot did not have a part number.

It's been so cold lately I haven't rolled down my windows nor my sunroof. I checked this morning and it seems ok now...off and on??? It's really weird...if it gets worse I'll take it to my dealer. Thanks guys.

Super old thread, but does anyone know what the cause of this is? There's a strong draft coming through the window buttons and other orifices on the door car when a window or sunroof is cracked open.

That flap above the speaker appears to open the door to the door card side. I'll have to remove the door card and see what's what.

Took my door card off and everything looks normal. The foam membrane is in place and not torn or detached anywhere.
This guy seems to have known the problem but has long since disappeared.
Any ideas, or alternatively, does anyone else notice this when they crack their window?
