Does anybody know where to buy an High Quality aftermarket Carbon Fiber hood for a C55?
My C55 got a serious case of the measles after I attempted to repair the paint chips on the hood with touch-up paint and chip repair kit.
I thought these kits were supposed to work!
Has ANYBODY had success with a DIY chip repair kit? I purchased mine through Performance Benz 4U.com. Will sanding and buffing the area eventually blend the repaired area in with the rest of the car?

Yes it is called re-spray the hood at the body shop.
You cant do a cheap blower kit and the same goes for fixing rock chips on the hood.
You often pay for what you get....

I know a guy in Seattle that is selling a CF hood for $300. I bought it from him but we couldn't find anyone to ship it, so he refunded me the money. If you can pick it up, it's a steal considering it was $1500 new.
