Did the C32 come from the factory with window tinting?
I've never seen so many used examples of any one car with window tinting in all my days. I haven't seen one yet without tints. They range from light tints to the dark "ghetto" tint commonly seen on 'Gators and 'Slades. Is this factory? My '04 C230 does not have tinted glass -- well, it does obviously but in the normal sense. Thanks guys.

Hmm, interesting. I figured the lighter tint may be standard. But my C230 is a "Sport" and has no tinting. Maybe the sport has no tinting?

I have a 2003 C32 T, and mine has tinted windows from the "B" line and back, and this is Mercedes original. The front was done after, but I have since the photo was taken, had to remove the front one, because of regulations here in Sweden. They picked it up on my yearly "goverment car check up".

As delivered, mine includes option code #691; it's listed as "blue heat-insulating glass all around."
Could be just another mandatory option. Is that an oxymoron?

mandatory option = definitely an oxymoron...
Mr. Weidermann always used to tell me stories of how Mercedes-Benz AG in Germany decides what options go to the USA, because they feel that Americans want that, and what options don't go to the USA, because Americans wouldn't want this or that.
Kinda like why Parktronic, Folding Mirrors, IMS, Distronic, and other cool features were not available on US W203's...
Thank you Mercedes-Benz AG for thinking of us so kindly !!!
