There was one post on here about a guy running against a CTS-V and he beat him (and admitted it could have been driver error). I beat a V8 mustang in my Grand Am with 175 hp that runs 15.3 at the track once, but it was because the driver didn't know how to drive. You don't believe for a second, that a CTS-V with a bad driver could lose to a C32? So here's why you make them look bad, because you're just blabbing over and over again that your car is faster, but what kind of response do you think you're gonna get on a mercedes benz forum? Do you think we're going to bow down to the awesomeness of your caddy? Dude, did you just buy a cadillac? Go throw some D's on it and F*** off.

Well it seems it's rather obvious that the V is faster than the C32 (stock and stock). I mean considering Mercedes (and BMW) first made the C32 (and E46 M3) in 2001, but now Mercedes-Benz is releasing the C63 (and BMW 2008 M3), and that, that will be a basis of comparison.

Your Caddy is fast and powerful, I won't take that away from you -- I'll give it that, but I know it doesn't corner/handle like a BMW M, or hold value like a Mercedes. Also, not too sure what you mean by it looks better than a Mercedes (or some people think that), but personally, a car that uses the same knobs and buttons as a GM pickup truck or GM mid-size truck cannot be considered in the same class as the world first and largest luxury automaker (no offense).

That being said, I give respect when respect is earned and the V can/will take out a C32.

Good point. Maybe us C32 owners should be out there trolling for some good 1996 Cateras, Cobalts, Malibus, Luminas or Vettes to go beat up on, to prove our manhood. We are unworthy to be metioned in the same "class" with an 04 cts-v.

Getting as much as he can out of it? I don't know why, I guess the C32 and M3 are cars that are so respectable that it's a pleasure for some Caddy owners to finally catch up to them. Think that's bad? Wait until the release the 2010 CTS-V, they'll go start problems in BMW E39 M5 forums!

I back that statement up, the CTS-V does not compare against the C32 or C55. if u want to compare a CTS-V with a benz ur looking at a E55 and an E55 will smoke u 5 ways form Sunday it will hand u ur "V" back to u on a silver platter, with some paper towels to wipe ur ***.
on the other hand "I think" a benz is a little more respected then a Cadillac any day of the week. and i can prove that with the help of some random girls, walk down the street and ask random girl what would they rather own a Cadillac or a BENZ and i bet u more then 70% will say BENZ.
i agree that ur "V" is a very nice car but its not in the same line as a benz an on a side note there is no way ur "V" can take a M5 or an M3 around corners, BMW are a 50/50 split and they can corner like no tomorrow. i agree to the fact that u can beat a M3 on a straight stretch but an M5 u have no hope in hell. M5 and E55 are in the same category. i hope the M5 that u raced was a new one not a 1991 M5? a stock 05' M5 or 05' E55 will murder ur car all around in any track or on a straight stretch.

The 30k is not only performance, it is pure luxury! If you need to compare with cheaper cars maybe you should stick with Dodge, Chrysler and Chevy's..

As did Audi in the Prototype 1 class. But none of these cars have much to do with what sits on the showroom floor. It's all about the quality of the race team and the money that the manufacturer puts into it.

The Corvette/CTS-V/GTO program is very powerful and well funded, but the cars are basically ground-up customer racers.

Heck, we could brag about MB's dominance in the European DTM series.
