Looking for Good MB service shops in Hawaii
I'm about to pick up my first Mercedes (2003 c32) on Saturday and was wondering where I should get an extended warranty from, as this ones going to expire in July. The dealer offers a 3yr/36000 mile warranty for $3700 which I think is expensive so I'm trying to find a reputable aftermarket warranty. My thoughts were to call the repair shops in town that cater to MB and ask what their experiences are with certain aftermarket warranty companies and who they are willing to work with. I contacted one shop who told me they have dealt with Carefree Car Protection before who paid for the repairs. I did some searching and it seems certain car dealerships (not MB) get their warranty through them which implies they may be safe to go with.
So if I could ask the Hawaii members what their thoughts are with repair shops other than the dealer and also if you had any aftermarket warranty experiences. or if you think I should get the warranty from the dealer.
